Fall is a season full of festivals and fun things to do.
Saturday, we attended the
Blue & Gray BBQ Contest Festival in
Chickamauga, Georgia.
We toured the
Gordon-Lee Mansion, which was beautiful. I love these old houses.

There were Civil War re-enactors (Living History), Cannon blasting, and lots of BBQ trailers.

Yummy delicious BBQ sandwiches |
After lunch we headed down to Lafayette to the
Crockford-Pigeon Mountain WMA to walk the
Shirley Miller Wildflower Trail.
There wasn't really any wildflowers on the trail at this time of year, and the waterfall didn't have a lot of water, but it was a great hike and place to see.

This was about the extent of the waterfall today. |

Eek! |

Watch it, Ryan, it's going to eat you! |
